Blowing Rocks Preserve, Hobe Sound, FL
This naturally rocky Indian River Lagoon shoreline was restored by planting 1 gallon saltmeadow cordgrass (Spartina patens) and red mangroves (Rhizophora mangle). Other native plants also successfully colonized the site.
This Indian River Lagoon shoreline shows the successful planting of large 3 gallon size red mangroves in the intertidal zone one year after planting.
